Unfair Prices is an online campaign to stop discriminatory pricing practices and policies that hurt the disadvantaged – which includes the poor and the homeless, the elderly, and people with disabilities.
We feature stories about real people, real situations, real stores, and real prices.
We want to change pricing policies so they do not discriminate against the less fortunate and disadvantaged in our society. We want fair prices for everyone.
Today that means the SAME prices for EVERYONE at the SAME time.
If stores reduce their prices or put items on “sale” or create “specials” – the prices should not be more favorable for some shoppers and not others. If retailers want to sell in multiples or in larger volumes, that’s great – but it should never disadvantage the person who can only afford to buy one.
It is time for our politicians and lawmakers to stand behind the people who need the most help. With grocery prices skyrocketing because of inflation and .supply chain issues, this is the right time to expose “unfair prices” for what they are – discrimination against the disadvantaged in our society,
Help us tell this story and change the way that retailers see their customers and their prices.
We need your contributions as volunteers: editors, writers, graphic artists, photographers, web-designers, and social media gurus. So, please send us a message and tell us how you can help.
